Seventeen!!!!!!
Phew! I made it!
I had a great birthday! I made my own cake for the first time (chocolate; see comment on post below), and I got my first decent camera. It's a Casio Exilim, as seen at right. I took pictures with it all day and used up the first set of batteries. Fortunately, I got rechargeable batteries as a present as well.
One of the presents I got that is really exciting to me is the piano book for the Josh Groban: Closer CD. I know a number of the songs on the CD by heart--even parts of some of the Italian ones--and I have been wanting to be able to play them as well for quite some time. The timing seems a bit hard, but if I study it, I should have no problems. In addition, I have found that it is a lot easier to study when I want to as opposed to when I should.
Well, I should get to bed now. Mama declared today a "Sandford national holiday" in honor of my birthday, but that doesn't mean we don't have school tomorrow. My birthday privileges are almost over anyway. Goodnight, my affectionate public! I bid you a fond arrivederci.
